Sterling eNews
Sterling eNews will bring police logs, obituaries, and selected news and events of immediate interest to Sterling residents to the e-mail inboxes of subscribers.
Police logs will be sent once a week, obituaries will be e-mailed within two days of when we receive them, and brief news updates will typically go out a couple times a week, depending on when meetings and events occur.
We will include election results, town meeting results, important decisions of the Board of Selectmen, and other timely news in Sterling eNews. If we find out about a community event after our print deadline, we will send a notice by Sterling eNews. Information about any emergencies in town, such as a boil water order, will be sent as soon as possible.
The print version of the Sterling Meetinghouse News will not change - it will still be the way we relay most of our local news, and all Sterling residents and businesses will continue to receive it in their mailboxes. If we receive enough subscriptions to Sterling eNews, that might even allow us to expand the print version.
